*AD – Introducing Earthy Nail Polish is a sponsored post. For more information, please refer to my disclaimer.
Firstly, before we get onto today’s post, I just wanted to thank you on my recent blog post, 2022 A year in reflection. I was blown away with your kind comments, messages and support. Whilst I did go into more depth in this video, putting it down onto paper in a way was hard. So much harder in fact than I thought it would be. But now it is finally out in the open. I hope one day I can speak more on the subject, helping other people to get out too.

Now onto the topic of today’s post, introducing Earthly Nail Polish to you. It feels like its been ages since I did a product review, so I’m excited to jump straight into it. If you watched my vlogmas videos last month, you will know that I fell in love with these polishes. However let me tell you more about them first…
Who is Earthy Nail Polish?
Earthly Nail Polish is an award winning eco-conscious brand. All of their polishes and treatments are made from natural ingredients and are vegan and cruelty free. They even offer a Recycle Reuse Programme where you can send your empties back for circular economy. The address for this is readily displayed over the website, including within the item descriptions. It therefore means you don’t have to spend ages searching for it.
Tell me more about the Polish?
Earthy Nail Polishes offer a wide range of colours, with something for every season. I love how easy their website is to navigate. You can shop by colour and really see what is available. Each of the bottles has a highly sustainable bamboo lid instead of the usual single use plastic cap.

The Earth Nail Polishes are proud to be 21 Free. This means that you will not find 21 harmful ingredients including silicones and parabens within the range. Not only are the polishes made with the environment in mind, they are also nourishing and caring for your nails.
My Thoughts
I was sent three polishes to try in shades Pink Jasmin, Ruby Red and Jackaranda. The first thing I want to mention is how easy I found it to open the bottle. And that is a good thing. I can’t tell you the amount of time I have wasted trying to get plastic caps off polishes. Of often resorted to using my teeth which I know is not good for me. However, the bamboo ones are so simple to undo, they are honestly a game changer.
I tested out the polishes for quite a few weeks before I felt able to give my full honest opinion. The truth is, I do believe you need to apply more coats than with other brands. The formula does appear quite watery. However, I don’t see that as a bad thing. I know that its natural ingredients I’m putting on my nails. After 3 thin coats of the Earthy Nail Polish, I found that it looked salon finished. It builds up beautifully on the nail and I found that it definitely lasted a lot longer than other brands.

I tested the polish without the use of a base or top coat first
This was because I wanted to see how well the polish worked. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. There was no staining to my nails, even with the Ruby Red shade. Even without a top coat, the polish lasted so much longer than other brands I’ve tried. I did use my own base and top coat after a while just to give it even more longevity. I would love to try a base and top coat from Earthy Nail Polish at some point. However, I don’t want to waste the products I already have open. Whilst my top coat isn’t made from natural ingredients, it wouldn’t be very sustainable to just throw a half used bottle away.
The ultimate comparison test
My daytime job is pretty hands on because I’m a cleaner so my nails can get damaged quite often. I decided that I would put Earthy Nail Polish up against Rimmel, a brand I have used for years. Whilst I’m aware that ingredient-wise Earthy Nail Polish is so much better, I wanted to test them out. They are priced very similar and even side by side, don’t look too different shade-wise. When I tell you I was shocked at the results, that was an understatement. To be clear, I used the same base and top coat with each one to keep it fair. Rimmel lasted a total of four days before it started to chip, which isn’t bad going. However, Earthy Nail Polish lasted nearly three weeks which is incredible.
As a result, I know I will be switching to Earthy Nail Polish from now on. It’s not just the staying power that has influenced that decision. I love how the natural ingredients make my nails feel. They are so much more healthy now and I’ve even noticed that they appear stronger too. So when I say I’d highly recommend Earthy Nail Polish, I really do mean it. As mentioned above, they have a great colour range. Either available as single items or in complimenting sets too so definitely check them out.

I love wearing nail polish but it chips too easily so, it’s nice to hear about a polish that is eco-friendly and hard-wearing.

I have a couple of eco-friendly nail polishes in my collection (not from this particular brand) and they are without a doubt, the best polishes I own. I love the sound of this brand and the fact that their polishes are stripped of all the harmful chemicals we really don’t need to be putting on our fingers and nails! The pastel colours are right up my street x

I’ll definitely check them out! I know about 7 free nail polishes but this is the first time I’ve heard of a 21 free polish. I love doing my nails but the smell always does me in so I’m always looking for brands that have non-stinky nail polishes.

Lovely review! I’ve come across this nail polish in stores and I can’t wait to try them. It’s great to hear that they lasted nearly three weeks, especially with a hands on job. It’s tough finding polishes that last more than a few days, so I’m glad to hear Earthy holds up!

Wow! I can’t believe these lasted so well. That’s amazing. It seems like a no brainer to switch to Earthy nail polishes. I’ve heard lots about these guys as a brand, especially in terms of sustainability and brand ethics. I’ve not used them before, but I think they sound brilliant!
