The Original Questions
When do your decorations go up?
I usually put my decorations up the first weekend of December. Its become a bit of a tradition and takes most of the weekend to get it all done.
Who is the Scrooge in your family or friendship group?
It is definitely my dad. He has his own reasons which I respect but we still joke about it. Last Christmas I even bought him a “Scrooge Lives here” sign.
If money were no object, how and where would you spend Christmas?
In all honesty, I wouldn’t do anything different than what I normally do. For me, Christmas is about spending time with my family and enjoying great food. I don’t think I’d enjoy Christmas anywhere else.
What Chritsmas film do you HAVE to watch every festive season?
Definitely The Holiday – its a classic right?
Who do you find hardest to buy presents for?
Definitely the men in my life, especially my dad and partner. I spend weeks looking through gift guides for inspiration.
Would you rather buy lots of little presents for a hamper, or buy one big/ main present?
I definitely prefer lots of little presents, with meaning behind them. I love putting together a hamper with all of the things the recipient enjoys.
What did you leave out for Santa when you were a child?
I used to leave a glass of milk and a couple of mince pies for Santa. I also used to put out a carrot for the reindeer.
Where did you spend last Christmas?
I spend the day and evening at home with my closest family.
Which Christmas song makes you cringe?
I love most Christmas songs, but East 17 Stay Another Day always makes me cringe.
If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be and why?
I’d be Elf because I love how excited he gets and how new everything is to him. It really is like watching a kid at Christmas. They only see the good in everything and everyone.
Katie’s Questions
What is your favourite Christmas decoration in your house and why?
It is a Christmas cookie jar in the shape of a house, with Santa climbing out of the chimney. It was my great Aunts’ and growing up, I always loved looking at it. Its made out of China, so I was never allowed to touch it, but that didn’t matter to me. When she passed away, I discovered that my great Aunt had left it to me.
Which celebrity would you most want as a friend, and what would you gift them for Christmas?
I’m going to cheat slightly because its actually two people. I’d love to have Brie and Nikki Bella aka the Bella Twins as friends. I would gift them some lovely bottles of good wine.
My Questions
- You are hosting a festive dinner party and can choose 5 celebrities dead or alive to attend. Who would you choose?
- What is one song that if you hear, always makes you feel festive?

This is such a great tag, perfect to get in the Christmas spirit! I loved all your answers, thanks for sharing!
These are all fun. I’m torn between celebrating like normal if money was no option, or renting out some beautiful cabin up north in the middle of nowhere and bringing the whole family up there to celebrate. It would be a really nice getaway with the people that I love most and I could easily pick a pet-friendly location so that we can all bring the crew along with us (my family is very pet-focused lol).
Katie is the undoubted QUEEN of Blogmas for sure! Thank you for tagging me, Kelly, this was a lovely post and I enjoyed all your answers 🙂 x

I don’t think we have a Scrooge – we’re all Christmas fanatics! I adore everything about Christmas. The one person I’d love to have Christmas dinner with is my Granda, who died on Christmas Day – his favourite day of the year. We celebrate him every year x
