Organising your life using the Tody app

minimalistic composition of office supplies

Do you feel like you’re constantly trying to organise your life? I’m sure we have all been there, I know I certainly have. I used to go round in a circle, where for a few weeks my life was perfectly organised. I was working from to-do lists and was on top of it. But then something would come along, those to-do lists would go out of the window and I wouldn’t even know where to start again. If this is you, I have sometime that I think will help. This post isn’t sponsored in any way, I simply just want to share with you an app which has completely changed my life.

Introducing the Tody app

The Tody app was created to allow users to create smarter to-do lists for easier cleaning routines. Its available on both iOS and Android devices and having used both versions, I can safely say it works well. Tody uses an indicator method which puts you in control of your cleaning routines. These indicators allow you to gain flexibility where you only need to clean the things that actually need doing. The app is customisable so that it fits in with your home and needs.

My Thoughts

I have been using the Tody app for over a year now and still refer to it everyday. It is really easy to use and is great for tailoring it to your needs. I’ve been able to regain control of my home and have been more motivated to stay on top of household tasks. The indicator system means that I can easily see which areas I need make a priority to work on.

The great thing about the Tody app is you don’t have to just use it for cleaning. I have a Kelly & Andy section where I can put other personal reminders such as when my hair needs dying. I even have a section for my dog Trixie which includes things like her jabs, flee treatment and health checks.

Overall my life has become so much more organised and in term, I’m a lot less stressed. I wake up each morning and check what I need to ideally complete that day. If I have a spare five minutes, such as when I’m waiting for the kettle to boil, I’ll refer back to the Tody app. If this sounds like something you could benefit from, I’d definitely recommend giving this app a try yourself. I use the free version and it works perfectly for what I need it to, although there are other benefits if you choose to upgrade to the premium version.

I’d love to know if you download the app and what you think of it, so leave me a comment down below.

  5. This sounds amazing! Can you have two apps refer off the same to do list? I.e. myself and my boyf so we can make sure we keep on top of bills & cleaning etc?

  6. This looks really interesting. I’ve never heard of Tody but I am in love with using apps and lists to keep my life organized. I’m going to have to check it out. I use organizational apps for almost every area of my life, but housework is the one area that I’ll admit I slack on a bit on that front – Occasionally I will add tasks to my daily to-do lists, but more often than not it’s just me fitting in cleaning whatever I recognize needs to be done when I have free time.

  17. Wow, I’ve never heard of Tody app before. I’m still learning to be really good with my organization skills but it’s still a very far goal lol. I have a habit of listing my goals in my mind only and not so much on putting it on paper, let alone on an app (I don’t want to always look at my phone) but as for your review, I think it can change my life so we’ll see! Thanks for sharing!

  18. I haven’t ever heard of this app before but what a great idea to help you stay organised. I like that you can customise it and add personal reminders. I haven’t tried any digital planners or apps like this before. But I have thought about using Google Planner alongside my paper planner and my bullet journal. Look out for something I am releasing in a few months as it sounds like it might be for you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this app.
