When I was little, I used to dream about one day having my own dressing room. I imagined a room specifically for my clothes, make up and other beautiful items. I’m so happy to say that this dream has now become a reality. I’ve teamed up with Poster Store to add the finishing touches to my dressing room. I can’t wait to share the amazing wall art I’ve picked with you. I decided on a selection of posters and prints from their website and am running with the theme of glamourous Fashion posters. Styling My Dressing Room

As previously mentioned, I wanted my dressing room to be a glamourous and girly space. I also wanted it to be a space that I could regularly update without any hassle. Choosing my favourite colour, pink, I picked up four posters that I thought would all work well together.

I wanted the wall art to reflect the purpose of the room. What better way to start than with a pretty perfume bottle illustration. It looks so artistic and I knew I just simply needed this design. Added to this, I searched for fashion posters and fell in love with the dress print. With these both working well in the space, I then chose the pink rose poster. To finish off the collection, I decided I could never go wrong with a quote.

What About Frames?

As mentioned above, Poster Store also sell frames in different finishes. I picked out the oak frames and was completely blown away with how amazing the quality is. The frames really added the finishing touch to my posters and made them stand out even more. I can definitely see myself purchasing more frames from them in the future for regular photos too.

Whilst planning out how I wanted the room to look, I decided to keep the posters the same size. It allows me to keep the frames in place and just swap the posters when I feel like a change. All of my unused posters are kept in a drawer, ready to be swapped out in a matter of minutes. The posters are a good thickness which means I can also hang them without frames if I’d prefer to. I’ve already got my eye on a few more posters that I know will look lovely during the winter months.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love what a transformation these posters have done to my dressing room. It feels like such a grown up space and always makes me smile when I walk into the room. I didn’t stop at styling my dressing room. In fact I have also picked up a poster for the kitchen as well as one for the bathroom too.
