As I introduced my other half Andy to you the other day in this post, I asked him to take a photo of me wearing my new leopard print cardigan of my dreams. I have always had a love/ hate relationship with leopard print. There are some shades that I really love and others which make me question if I really like it. I’m a huge fan of oversized and chunky cardigans. I can wear them all year round, whatever the weather. I’ve been on the look out for the perfect leopard print cardigan for quite a while now. I finally saw the one I wanted on a Primark haul on YouTube and just knew it was the leopard cardigan of my dreams. That moment when you finally find the one you want is amazing.

The Search Begins
Unfortunately, after a trip to my local Primark store, I found it was not meant to be. They didn’t have a single one in stock. I was told that after popular demand, it was now discontinued. The following week, I was due to head to Bath and so headed to that Primark to see if they had any stock left. Again the answer was no.
Andy suggested that as we both had the following day off, we could head to the Bristol store. He could clearly see how much I wanted this cardigan. I saw one, right across the store and thought my luck was finally in. I picked it up, ready to try it on, only to find that it was a size 8. No matter how much I wished it would fit, it didn’t. I knew I had to accept that this leopard print cardigan just wasn’t for me.
Fate Intervenes
On the way home, I decided to have a look on Ebay for an alternative. There were several on there but nothing quite compared. All of a sudden, as if fate had intervened, someone listed one for sale, in my size. It had a buy it now price that was slightly higher than the original price but that didn’t matter. I quickly bought it before anyone else could snap it up. The day had ended on a high after all. Now all I had to do was wait for it to arrive. Thankfully, it only took a couple of days.
I was starting to wonder if this cardigan would live up to my expectations but I didn’t need to worry. It is super snuggly and so warm. I know I will be getting a lot of wear out of it and it will be in my collection for a long time to come. What do you think of my leopard print cardigan of dreams?

That looks like the coziest cardigan!! It’s best when you find knitwear that is exactly as cozy as it looks, but also doesn’t look frumpy.

Love the cardi! I have a few from Primark and I love how soft and cosy they are, have worn them to the point that I need some new ones! Really love the tones in this one too rather than the brighter leopard prints you can get. Fab buy, really suits you so was worth the eBay hunt!

Thank you! I agree some of the brighter prints don’t always look the best.
