Make Up Looks – How to add the Glamour

Its been a while since I shared a make up look with you, so I thought I’d create a glamour look today.

My face with no make up

The Base

The first thing I like to do is prime my skin. I use two products, the “L’Oreal Lumi Magique” for all over my face and the “Absolute New York Eyeshadow Primer” on my eyelids. I then add my favourite “Rimmel Wake Me Up” foundation and the matching concealer, applying it under my eyes.Make up products - the foundation, concealer, eye shadow primer and face primer mentioned within the post

Colour & Define

I start off by applying The “Model Co Contour stick”. Adding it to the hallows of my cheeks, edge of my forehead, down the sides of my nose and finally to my jawline, before buffing it in. Next, I add the “BarryM Illuminating Strobe Cream” to the middle of my nose, my cheek bones and my cupids bow. Next, I add the “Collection Speedy Blush” onto the apples of my cheeks. If you ever feel confused when it comes to contouring, there are some really great tips on Pinterest to help you.

The Eyes

I start off with the “Benefit Brow Contour Pro” stick, colouring and highlighting my brows so that they look their best. To define my eyes, I add the “NYX The Curve” eyeliner on my lid line as well as my lower lash line. Once I’m happy with that, I use the “Catrice Glamazing” eyeshadow palette, using the colours “Energetic” and “Supreme”. I apply them both to my eyelids, then blend it out slightly so that it creates a smokey eye look. To finish off the eyes, I add the “Rimmel Wonderfull” mascara.

Finishing Touches

Adding the finishing touches to the overall look, I add this gorgeous pink lipstick from M&S.

Here is my finished look and I really like it. What do you think?

  4. I love the eyeshadow palette and the lipstick! I haven’t been wearing much makeup at all during lockdown and it’s been such a nice breather for my face. But it will be nice to glam up again when it’s safe to go out places 🙂

  8. I love the subtle touch of your lipstick; it is just the kind of muted tone that I love, and pairing it with golden eyeshadow is such a fun idea! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
