AD – The Hair Removal Kit mentioned in this post have been gifted to me in exchange for my views. This doesn’t affect any opinions stated.
Keeping on top of hair removal can sometimes be tricky. Wintertime is when I struggle the most because I’m lounging is comfy clothing, with nobody seeing what my legs look like. I used to get into a cycle where I would only shave them during the summer months. There is something that feels so good about freshly shaved legs that makes you feel so much more positive.

I’ve had a very limited experience when it comes to hair removal. I’ve used hair removal creams in the past but always felt that they left a burnt and itchy feeling. I also saw it as a bit of a faff. In terms of waxing, I’ve had my eyebrows waxed for years and been happy with the results. I tried a home waxing kit for my legs years ago but just couldn’t get on with it and had never gone back to it… until now.

Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit
I was recently sent the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit to try out. The kit contains 200g of sugar coated wax, 3 applicators and 15 washable and reusable strips. It also comes with full instructions to make sure you use the product correctly and safely.
Sugar Coated is a 100% natural vegan wax. It contains Rosehip oil, which has so many amazing benefits. The oil helps you to keep your skin nourished and moisturised. Because Sugar Coated doesn’t contain any citric acid, resins or additives, it makes for a smooth application and gentle yet amazing results.
Even more benefits
As well as being 100% natural, it is also vegan, cruelty free and is suitable for all parts of the body. Its also suitable for all skin and hair types which is great. Sugar Coated is designed so that you can ethically and easily remove hair without damaging your skin.
Sugar Coated can be warmed up either in the microwave or in a saucepan. It means that you don’t need any fancy equipment to achieve great results. Along with the instructions, you also get a good amount of tips to insure that you are happy with the results.
My Thoughts
As instructed, the first thing I did was a patch test. It was so easy to do, I couldn’t wait to fully have a try with the product. I did find getting the wax the right temperature difficult to start with, but I soon worked it out.
The application process was so easy and was mess-free. It obviously takes longer than shaving and it took me longer still whilst I got to grips with what I needed to do. The best part about using Sugar Coated is definitely how great the results are. My legs were left silky smooth and hair regrowth was definitely a lot slower. I also didn’t have any rash which I normally get when I shave.
Overall, I’d definitely say that I’m fully converted to using Sugar Coated. I love that its water soluble which means that if I make a mistake, I can simply correct it.

I never wax because I’m allergic to like everything. But this would probably be fine since it’s 100% natural. I’ve never heard of it before. Thanks!
