Firstly, I want to say a big thank you to every who has wished me a happy birthday. I had a lovely day of celebrating and enjoying the lovely weather we were blessed with.

A few days before my birthday, Panda Sweets got in touch to ask if I’d like to try one of their Pick N Mix Boxes. Now you might not know this but I have a huge sweet tooth. I’m not so big on chocolate, but when it comes to sweets, I love them. Of course I said yes and eagerly waited for them to arrive. I didn’t have to wait long because they offer fast delivery within the UK.

When I opened up the box, I was pleased to see that the sweets are sealed in a bag inside. It kept them protected during transit. All I then needed to do was open them and add them to the box. This was all inside another box which meant it was hygienic and safe during the posting process.

If you’re a blogger, you’ll know the struggle of waiting until you’ve taken photos of an item before using it. This is especially difficult when the look as delicious as these sweets do. Photos finally done, I was able to sample them and wow didn’t I enjoy a few. There was such a great variety inside. Delicious jelly sweets, and fizzy sweets to chocolate and marshmallows and I was in heaven. I felt like I had been transported pack to the penny sweets aisle of my childhood.

What Options are there?

Each box contains 1KG worth of sweets, which is great. There are several boxes available, depending on dietary needs, including dairy free, halal, vegan, and vegetarian. The price does vary depending on your needs. For the box that I received, it would cost you £7.49 for 1KG. This is amazing value compared to how much it would cost from a pick n mix station

These boxes would make great gifts as would the sweet jars and hampers that Panda Sweets also sell. If you wanted to treat yourself or had specific sweets you were looking for, you can instead buy individually. Choose from over 600 items in their online store.

The Panda Sweets website is so easy to navigate. The gift ideas tab is where you will find the Pick N Mix box or choose by other option instead. These include sweet type, flavour, brand, colour or dietary need. I love that there’s a colour option tab. This was exactly what I needed when I helped plan a baby shower celebration.

Plans for the future

Despite myself and Andy eating quite a few of them, there is still lots left. We are going to be having a movie night on Sunday, so these will be the perfect addition. I noticed on the Panda Sweets website that they do a Christmas Pick N Mix box. I will definitely be putting on my Christmas Wishlist this year. Talking of Christmas, I normally make Andy an advent calendar with different bits inside. The option of choosing sweets individually will make this such a quick and easy way of achieving this.

If you like the sound of the Panda Sweets Pick N Mix boxes, why not give them a try yourself. Use the code “KELLY” to treat yourself to 15% off the entire website. This offer is available until 31/07/2021.

  1. I have not had sweets like this in a LONG time, and I do miss the mix it aisles in the grocery store. Having a sweet jar on hand to dip into when in need of a little something sweet is something I love, so I look forward to checking out the jars Panda Sweets offer!

  3. I love these sort of sweeties. I’ve never heard of Panda Sweets but I know we have a few similar companies over here in Northern Ireland. I always love the selection, and bonus points if they’re retro.
