If you can’t already tell by the title, today I wanted to share with you some of the things I’m grateful for right now. I’ve been feeling really positive lately and trying to enjoy the small things more. So let’s jump straight into 5 things I’m grateful for right now…
My beautiful dog Trixie

I’ve been Trixie’s mum for eight years now and that time has certainly flown by. She always has the ability to make me laugh, even when times are tough. She can be stubborn as a mule at times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Before getting Trixie, I had no idea how getting a dog could change my life for the better. Now I couldn’t imagine a single day without her.
The gorgeous weather we currently have
I don’t know about you, but I always feel so much better when the sun is shining. Granted it is a little too hot to want to do anything other than essential things. However, I’m enjoying it just the same. I’ve recently picked up some SPF products from Boots so that I’m all ready for summer.
My Family
Although I’m from a large family, those in my immediate circle are all really close. They consist of my mum, dad, nan and boyfriend Andy. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to mentally get through this pandemic without them. I’ve definitely taken them all for granted in the past, but now appreciate all the wonderful memories we have made together.
The NHS
The NHS have really shown how much they play a part in all our lives, even more so during this pandemic. The selfless, amazing work they do at all levels, really makes me feel proud to be British. I had my first covid jab a few weeks ago and they were so organised, it was great. Despite it being run like a well-oiled machine, the staff still gave you all the time you needed and really helped you throughout the process.
My Followers
I recently took some time away from my blog. Whilst I don’t think it was burnout, but I did just momentarily loose the joy in blogging because I had so many other things going on. I didn’t announce that I was taking a break, I was so pleasantly surprised at the amount of messages I received asking if I was ok. Added to this, so many of you were reading and sharing my content still which was lovely. I am so grateful to all of you. For the friendships I’ve made and the supportive community in which we all belong. I post daily over on my Instagram, so make sure you are following me over on there.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little gratitude post. What are five things your grateful for today?

Love the post. I too took sort of an unannounced break from blogging to explore another career option. Turns out I didn’t like it and came back. It was lovely to see my blogging friends again. I have enjoyed my journey so far and I feel this is what I am meant to do.

Love these posts! Expressing gratitude regularly is SO important. Trixie is so cute. I’m always so grateful for my dog and the joy he brings to us – even if he does cause us stress and panic sometimes haha! The NHS – I’m so thankful for them right now too. I had my first vaccine last week, so was particularly grateful for them there and all the amazing nurses that made everything run so smoothly! xxx

I loved seeing the picture of your dog Trixie. A puppy a day keeps my blues away. Hmm.. what five things am I grateful for right now?
First of all I’m grateful to still be alive. God saved my life when I was ripped apart by a Tibetan Majestic Mastiff a few years ago.
I am grateful for the kindness and help of strangers for putting a roof over my head this past week when Ii was sick with an infection in my leg.
I am grateful to be able to have use of my faculties and my body parts.
I am grateful for the opportunity to meet people who don’t think it’s odd to walk with God.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to be used by God.
