Before I get onto the subject of the changes I’ll be making for 2022, I just want to thank you for all of your support this year. I feel like its very much been a rollercoaster of emotions, with so many highs and lows.

Reflecting on 2021
Despite starting the year in another lockdown, I kind of enjoyed being able to pack the decorations away and clean my home at my own leisure. I’m lucky enough to have a great set of friends who would organise zoom evenings full of games, laughter and just checking in with each other. All of this and more made what could have been a stressful situation a little better.

Over the last twelve months, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to travel the UK quite a bit. I’ve seen some beautiful sights, had some fun experiences and also got to catch up with those friends I don’t get to see that often. Trips to London, Lincolnshire and a tour of most of Scotland are definitely highlights I’m taking from the year. Travelling is something I definitely want to do more of in 2022.
Being able to attend two airshows made me so happy. If you know me well, you’ll know just how down I’ve been about not being able to attend any for two years. For me, airshows are so much more than just planes. There is a camaraderie and a buzz about the place that nothing matches. Its the meeting up with friends from all over the world, something in previous years I’ve taken for granted.

Looking forward to 2022
Looking forward to the brand new year, I’m not about to quote new year, new me. That just isn’t my style, however I am looking to make a few changes. I’ve set myself some goals that I would like to achieve my the end of 2022 but they are things that I will be working on behind the scenes. Instead, here are some changes that I have decided I would like to make:
A healthy & happier version
Becoming a healthier version of myself is one of the biggest changes I want to make. Rewind five years, I was the healthiest I had ever been. I was working out several times a week, my food was made up of delicious fruit and veggies and I was loving the results. I’ve let that slide over the past few years and my body has definitely warned me of that fact this year. I will definitely be upping the amount of water I drink and will be trying to eat more healthier foods.
Stepping back from blogging
I am still very much in love with my blog however, I think it is time for me to take a step back and focus on my mental health more. I will still be posting twice a week on a Tuesday and Friday. However, you may notice that there will be more guest posts. You are all so supportive when I host another blogger on here and I love that they bring with them new topics and ideas. If you would like to write a guest post for this blog, email kellydiane94@hotmail.co.uk with your idea.
Be in the moment
Living more in the moment is something I really want to do. In order to achieve this, I want to spend less time on social media. Thankfully there are lots of scheduling tools available online, so hopefully you won’t notice this too much.
Improving my photography
With the extra time I have away from social media, I’d like to dedicate some of that time to learning more about photography and how to get the best shots from my camera. Hopefully this will show on my blog in the coming months, thanks to the many resources available online.
Final Thoughts
That brings me to the end of this post and the changes I’ll be making in 2022. I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year. If you do have a spare minute, I would love for you to subscribe to my mailing list because that is something that I want to focus more on in 2022.
Best of luck!
Blogging takes so much work, so it’s a good idea to take a step back when you need to focus on other things, especially your mental health. Great post Kelly!

It would be nice to travel more. I’ve never watched an airshow before, that’s something I’d love to see in the future.
