My Answers

What is your favourite fall scent?

I loved anything spiced. Yankee Candles do some amazing smelling candles.

Do you prefer pumpkin pie or apple pie?

I definitely prefer apple pie. I like to have mine with a bit of custard.

What is one autumn tradition you have?

We always go to a bonfire and enjoy watching some firework displays.

What are you planning on dressing up as for Halloween?

I haven’t really thought about it this year with everything that has been going on. I’ll probably dress up as a witch because its a simple outfit to put together.

What are you most excited for in fall?

I love going for walks and hearing the leaves scrunch under my feet.

What is your favourite scary movie?

I really don’t like scary movies, so I try to steer away from them when I can. Instead, I’ll watch Hocus Pocus.

What is your favourite Halloween candy?

I love toffee apples although I always worry I’ll break my teeth!

Favourite pumpkin spiced flavour thing?

Costa usually do an amazing Pumpkin spiced latte.

What is your warmest fall memory?

I’d probably say it was the first Autumn when Trixie was a puppy. Watching her run through all the leaves was the most adorable thing.

What is your favourite autumn must have?

Definitely a warm hat, scarves and gloves. I always feel the cold so I like to wrap up nice and warm.

I hope you enjoyed reading my answers. Why not have a go yourself. I’m not going to tag anyone in particular but if you do this tag, let me know because I’d love to read your answers.

  1. Congratulations on this Tag! 💕 I’m an apple pie lover myself, but I’d like to try some pumpkin pie someday. Hahaha loved reading your answers, I’d wish to experience fall someday and get to write the best things about it. 😊💕 Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love blog posts like this, it was great reading your answers. I’m ashammed to say this but I’ve never had a pumpkin spiced latte, I think this autumn should be the year I try one!

  3. “I love going for walks and hearing the leaves scrunch under my feet.” – Yes! To me, this is one of the most romantic things ever! ❤️️❤️️❤️️

  4. Is it ok if I use this tag as long as I mention you and the original post? I need a Fall inspired post. Btw, since you prefer apple pie to pumpkin pie, I just posted an easy cinnamon apple recipe that you csn use as pie filling. Happy Fall!!!

  5. Anything spiced is definitely THE FALL sent!!! Cinnamon/nutmeg ones are the perfect ones to have at home for sure. Tough choice on pumpkin vs apple pie – I love both! But if I had to choose, I think apple pie would win! But I do love pumpkin pie with a bit of whipped cream on top.

My favorite thing about fall is the weather – and the changing of the leaves, it’s the best to just run in nature and visible see the leaves changing and to walk on crunching leaves!

YES – Hocus Pocus!!! A Classic!!! I can’t wait to have a weekend soon to watch all the classics.

    Loved reading this!

  6. Yes! Apple pie is so good. I haven’t had it in literally years so might think about trying to make one. I’m going to really miss firework displays this year!

  7. Ah I want to watch Hocus Pocus right now, such a great film! It will be strange this year without fireworks displays to go too, we usually go to our local one but it’s been cancelled x

  8. I’ve been wondering what this blogtober tag thing is that I keep seeing! Now I finally know, that k you! And I’m totally with you on the scary movies. I already watched Hocus pocus the night before last. It’s my favorite!

  9. Some of the things listed here–apple pies, piles of crunchy leaves, Yankee candles–got me more excited about fall.

  10. I love seeing everyone’s answers to this fun autumnal tag because I love everything about autumn/fall. Definitely not one for scary movies either so Hocus Pocus is a MUST! 🙂

  11. What a fun post! I also LOVE spiced yankee candles. I grew up with a forest right behind my house and absolutely loved going for walks with the leaves crunching under my feet. What a beautiful time of year.

  12. Hey Kelly, I didn’t know of Blogtober till a week ago, and it is interesting to me how the blogging community has these ‘traditions’ of sorts. I wonder who started them! I just came over from your getting to know you blog post. I love how two years on, and Trixie is given another feature/mention in this blog post. Thanks for sharing, have a great week ahead! 🙂

  13. I really enjoyed reading your blogtober tag, Kelly! ^v^ Your description of Trixie running through the fallen leaves leaves a beautiful image in the mind. It must have been so cute! 😄

I definitely share your aversion to scary movies – especially zombie movies, I absolutely hate them because I can never sleep afterwards! I was a mess after watching “Night of the Living Dead” for the first time, and I was 20 then. Oh well. 😂

    Thanks for the great post!

  14. We recently had pumpkin pie, but I want to try apple pie with custard now. It sounds delicious!
There is nothing like a cosy candle that smells of fall, but I love listening to the leaves crunch underfoot too. That and admiring the colors is my favorite way to enjoy the season. 🙂

  15. I love autumn so much! I was literally just having the apple pie vs. pumpkin pie debate with my coworker tonight. He’s team pumpkin and I’m team apple all the way!

  16. Loved your Blogtober responses! I hear ya with the halloween costume! I’m thinking of dressing up as a cat! Super simple Haha

  17. Love reading posts like this! I have never really liked apple pie but I do want to try it again!
