I don’t know about you but I find it such a struggle to keep everyone entertained when its wet and cold outside. We recently had some young guests to stay and keeping them occupied and off of their iPads all day felt like a bit of a challenge. That is, until we opened Six Second Scribbles, kindly sent to me from Gamely.
Who Is Gamely?
I feel privileged to have been able to work with Gamely a number of times. Frozen Unicorns and A Little More Conversation are both firm favourites in our house. All of the Gamely games are designed to get you all talking and joining in, no matter what age you are. Their aim is simple, to help you spend time with friends and family.
Gamely care about the impact they have on the environment too. They plant 10 trees for every one that they use. In addition to this, they also ensure to do good in the community. They give away 10% of profits as well as give away 1000 of games to good causes.
Six Second Scribbles – My Thoughts
This is such a fun and fast paced game, although of course you can play it at your own speed. The idea is that you all have one minute to draw up to ten things written on one of the cards. In order for you to win any points, the others must guess what you have drawn correctly.
The first time we played this game, we were able to keep three kids aged between 6-10 entertained for well over an hour. That was an hour off the iPads, doing something fun. It brought so many laughs as we tried to guess what each drawing was.
A few weeks later, we had some adult guests staying with out and decided to try out Six Second Scribble with them too. All I can say is with a few drinks inside of us, the drawings got more obscure but the laughs were those belly laughs you won’t forget in a hurry. It just goes to show that this game, like the other ones I’ve tried, are suitable for all ages.
I love that each of the games comes in its own box and is the perfect size for popping in your handbag. Whether you are going out for a meal, taking a long car journey or going on holiday, its a great way of passing the time.

This sounds like such a fun game! I like the added element of having the short time to draw. I’m definitely not good at drawing, but think I’d have fun giving this game a go 🙂 Very cool to learn about Gamely and the good things the company does too!

It is HARD to drag kids these days away from their Ipads and teens from their phones, but this sounds like just the kind of game NOT to get an eye-roll and a ‘boring’ speech. Love that you tried it out with adults too and that it was a hit. 🙂

Oh I can just imagine what my kind of drawings would be (no artistic talent at all here!). This sounds like such fun – and great that it works for all age-groups.

My partner and I are slowly building our collection of games, and this sounds like a perfect addition.
I love that Gamely contribute back to the environment; that is fantastic! With my friends, I can imagine this game getting quite loud when we play, especially with a few drinks, as you stated.
I just browsed through the Gamely website; the games are very affordable, aren’t they! Now I have no choice but to get six-second scribbles. 😂
