I’ve very kindly been gifted this necklace for this review. I chose to personalise it with Trixie’s name because she is my world. When placing my order, there was three options for the material – 925 Sterling Silver, 18CT Gold Plating or 18CT Rose Gold Plating. I chose to go with the sterling silver because it would compliment the rest of my jewellery perfectly. Personalising your necklace couldn’t be more easy. You simply add the name into the box below your material. Despite the fact you are limited to 10 characters, this fits most names.

The last step before you add your necklace to the basket is to choose your chain length. This is something I really appreciate because I can be quite particular when it comes to where my necklaces sit. There are five sizes to choose from. One thing that I found really helpful when deciding, is that JoyAmo have marked the 35cm chain as a child’s size and 45cm chain as an average size. This gave me some sort of idea of what I would be looking at.

First Impressions

When the necklace arrived, it was housed in a pretty box, making it already perfect for gifted. Upon opening up the box, I was blown away by just how good the quality is. One thing I always look for in a necklace is a good weight. I don’t want something that is too heavy but at the same time, I want it to sit nicely too. One thing I was unsure on was whether the necklace would have pointy or sharp bits like pervious named necklaces have in the past. I’m pleased to report that it doesn’t have either of those. In fact, it is so comfortable to wear, I have left it on pretty much most of the time since I received it. Obviously I do remove it before swimming or showing because I don’t want to damage it.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I absolutely love both the service I’ve received and well as the necklace. As someone who wasn’t always a fan of personalised jewellery, when done right like this, I’m happy to say I’m converted. I’ve already started looking all over the JoyAmo website, looking for gift ideas for Christmas. So if any of my friends and family are reading this, you know what your getting this Christmas!
